The copper rotor and flat wire motor are adopted, significantly enhancing the safety and durability of the new energy vehicle

Nowadays, the new energy vehicle industry is highly competitive. Compared to the range of the vehicle, what customers actually value more is whether the vehicle can be used for a long time and the stability of its safety performance. As one of the three power systems of new energy vehicles, "electric motor" is moving towards the application of copper materials and the upgrading and transformation of the motor structure in the new direction of industry development. 

The material determines the service life of the motor under high power density, and the safety performance of the motor operation is closely related to the material. Compared with aluminum, the electrical conductivity of copper is about 60% higher, and its thermal conductivity is 1.8 times that of aluminum. Its melting point reaches 1083℃, while aluminum only reaches 660℃. The corrosion resistance and high melting point characteristics enable the motor to avoid many safety hazards in the material aspect, such as aging and thermal failure, etc. All these characteristics make copper one of the indispensable materials in motor manufacturing. At present, the use of copper materials and flat wires has become the mainstream choice in the motor industry. 

Many car manufacturers and vehicle producers will design flat-wire motors to replace the traditional round copper wires. In practical applications, flat-wire motors have the ability to optimize their structure. This enables a greater reduction in temperature rise of the motor, achieving higher heat dissipation efficiency. Additionally, the mechanical strength of the flat-wire windings is higher, which can significantly prevent wear caused by long-term vibration of the vehicle, thereby extending the service life of the motor.
