Currently, the flat wire winding technology is gradually expanding from high-end electric vehicles to various application scenarios such as micro vehicles, tricycles, and construction machinery. It has become the mainstream choice for the upgrade of electric drive systems. This technology uses rectangular copper rods instead of the traditional circular enameled wire. The traditional round wire motor has a slot filling rate of approximately 45%, while the flat wire structure can increase the slot filling rate to over 70%. More effective copper material reduces the winding resistance, expands the heat dissipation area, not only enhances the peak power, but also optimizes the continuous output capacity, significantly broadening the motor's efficient operating range.
WISEDRV closely follows the industry trends and, based on the operating conditions of 96V platform vehicles, independently developed an optimized flat-wire winding process. The motor has a rated power of 6kW and a peak power of up to 12kW. The torque output range is wide (18Nm - 65Nm, compatible with higher specifications), and the maximum rotational speed is up to 7500rpm. This effectively improves the problems of heat generation and power loss during long-term operation of the equipment.
In terms of product design, the WISEDRV design and research team carefully selected and compared material types and structures to achieve system lightweighting while ensuring structural safety and operational reliability. This effectively reduced the weight of components and enhanced the overall driving experience of the vehicle. It also reserved more installation space for the vehicle's battery and intelligent accessories. With a protection level of IP67, it supports CAN2.0 communication, UDS diagnosis, and OTA upgrades.
