High-voltage integration becomes mainstream! New energy electric drive technology achieves unprecedented breakthroughs

Since 2026, the electric drive technology of domestic new energy vehicles has made rapid progress, with an accelerating pace of iteration. On April 18th this year, an academic conference on electric vehicles was held in Tianjin. The conference mainly focused on hot topics such as high-voltage electric drives and integrated power technologies, and major car manufacturers like BYD and NIO also attended to showcase their latest developed power technology products. 

As early as April 2025, during the Electric Drive System Technology Conference hosted by the New Energy Testing Center of China Automobile Research Institute, the "Premium High-Quality Power System" technical verification system was launched. It set clear standards for the product quality requirements of the industry, helping the new energy vehicle industry develop in a standardized manner.

Currently, the multi-in-one electric drive system has become the mainstream trend. The integration solutions of "large three-in-one" (motor, electronic control, reducer) and "small three-in-one" (OBC, DC/DC, PDU) are rapidly gaining popularity. Many enterprises are moving towards developing products with higher integration levels.

At the policy level, the country has continued to provide strong support. It has explicitly stipulated that significant breakthroughs in related key technologies should be achieved by 2025. This move has set a direction for the research and development of domestic new energy electric drive technologies.
